I became a Christian and was baptized at the age of 13. My parents gave me the opportunity to attend Christian school during my junior high and high school years. As an adult, I have grown to appreciate the Christian education and upbringing from my family.
After high school, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Motion Picture Production at Wright State University. During my experience Wright State I experienced a clash of worldviews, particularly an ideology that is hostile towards the Bible and Jesus Christ. This challenged me, and I compromised what I thought was true, particularly the Word of God. While experiencing the consequences of conforming to the world, this ultimately lead to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit changing my heart, mind, and soul.
Tri County Church of the Nazarene played and important role in this process. I began attending regularly with my wife Andrea Smith, while we were first dating. Since attending, I have been given the opportunity to be involved in our Worship team and serve as a Sunday school teacher for our junior high students. Andrea and I are both excited, and grateful for the opportunity to further serve the Lord by serving our youth.
Andrea and I have been married for 6 years and have two wonderful children, Freddy and Aurora. We also have a cat named DeeDee, and a dog named Trooper.
